What to expect while working with Christine?

Christine utilizes a whole foods approach to guide you to a healthier and happier lifestyle with the end goal of reducing or eliminating medical conditions where food sensitivities can play a primary or secondary role. Some of these medical conditions include: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Diarrhea, Arthritis, Migraines, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Obesity, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Initial screening:

Christine would like to find out what your health concerns are and the goals you would like to achieve while working with her. She will review your medical history, dietary and lifestyle factors, and symptoms of concern. If food sensitivities seem to be related to your concerns she will recommend the mediator release test (MRT) and the LEAP (Lifestyle Eating and Performance) anti-inflammatory eating plan.

MRT tests for 150 common foods and food chemicals and will give you an individualized report showing which foods and food chemicals may be provoking inflammation in your body. More importantly, MRT identifies your BEST foods- which will be the foods that form the basis of your LEAP eating plan.

Initial Consultation:

This will entail a detailed review of your MRT and other lab results. Christine will then work with you to come up with an individualized meal plan based on your results and food preferences as well as help you pinpoint the health goals you want to work towards. The meal plan will be for Phase 1 of the LEAP eating plan and will last approximately 10 days. Christine will provide you with meal and recipe ideas, shopping tips, and instructions on how to read food labels. You will have unlimited access to Christine via e-mail for the duration of your program.

Follow up Consultation 1:

During this visit, we will review your food diary and symptoms, progress and any setbacks or potential barriers to success. If ready, we will work together to come up with your Phase 2 diet which should last approximately 4-6 weeks.

Follow up Consultation 2:

During this visit, we will review your progress and work towards building your long-term healthy and delicious diet that will fit your lifestyle even when you are on the go or traveling.

Additional Follow up Consultations:

We will be tracking your progress during each visit utilizing symptom questionnaires and laboratory tests until you reach your desired health goal.
